How the POPCORN blog is researched, written, checked and published — including exactly where AI is involved and where a human has to sign off.
Who writes these articles
Every article is published under the name of a real person on the POPCORN team who edited it and stands behind it. We do not invent author personas, and we do not publish under a house byline to hide who was responsible.
The editor's name, role and profile links appear on each post.
How AI is used
We use AI to research topics and produce first drafts. That is where its authority ends: a draft cannot become a published article without a human editor reading it, rewriting what needs rewriting, and approving it. This is enforced in our publishing system, not just in policy — the drafting pipeline has no ability to publish.
Every published article carries a short note saying it was drafted with AI assistance and edited by a human. We would rather say it plainly than have you wonder.
How facts are checked
Every statistic, price, platform specification and external claim in an article must have a source, and every source URL is verified to exist and resolve before the draft reaches an editor. Claims we cannot source get cut rather than softened.
Sources are listed at the bottom of the article so you can check them yourself. When we update a piece, we re-check them.
What we do about our own product
POPCORN is an AI video-ad studio, so many of these articles touch our own category. When we compare tools — including ours — we say what each is actually good at, and we test what we describe.
Screenshots and example videos are real output from the product, not mockups.
Arabic articles are written, not translated
Our Arabic articles are researched against Arabic search behaviour and written for an Arabic reader, with Gulf examples and local pricing. They are not machine translations of the English versions, and some exist only in Arabic.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Articles carry a visible last-updated date that reflects real edits to the content.
